I don't see how you can bridge the political divide when one side wants equal rights for LGBTQ+ people and other side wants to overthrow the government if they don't get their way.

IANAL, but my understanding it's still state charges and possible conviction. Moving it to federal just changes the venue which changes the jury pool which doesn't benefit him that much. Could delay the trial though. Which we know is his Hail Mary.

Here's a crazy idea. How about a bunch of us donate to the ADL and have tribute cards sent to chief twit's headquarters.

Case in point, when youtube buried one of Caitlin Doughty's documentaries from Ask a Mortician.

The video in question: The Forgotten Disaster of the SS Eastland. It's 43 minutes long, both well done, and respectfully done. Her team did a good job on it then some youtube automated system buried it for "violating community guidelines".

In retrospect, DoJ didn't go far enough back then and ignored Microsoft's anti-competitive behavior with BeOS.

Microsoft really needs an antitrust smackdown with their repeated behavior.

You know anyone that takes that job will be working under sweatshop kind of conditions. Having to go through a ridiculous amount of the most vial crap with only seconds to make a decision.

The simple fact that she's hasn't filed a lawsuit and instead has been sending out emails leads me to believe she is full of hot air. Amongst other things she is probably full of.

Hurricane Michael absolutely creamed Bay County five years ago. Knocked down so many trees that the water table went up. Not to mention the number of homes that took major damage. There are more pine trees in the north. It wouldn't surprise me if more were downed.

I'm not sure how ready the state's infrastructure is to begin with given how much bigger and stronger the canes are getting. Plus we have so many people living along the coast.

Tropical storms and weak hurricanes provide an excuse to get drunk and bbq.

It cuts through a bunch of red tape, and we haven't had a hurricane target the state this year. Right now, NHC is predicting a Cat 1 hurricane. That's only hurricane party weather. Unless you live in a low lying area or are susceptible to storm surge. That prediction will probably change though.

Right now the intensity models are predicting a CAT 1 with landfall happening sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday. Of course there's plenty of time for those predictions to change. 😛

There are two kinds of people that work for Trump. One kind understands the phrase "cash up front", the others are the true believers. One group may get paid. The others won't and may even end up in jail when they inevitably break the law.

Findling is a self-proclaimed liberal whose prior social media posts criticizing Trump quickly drew media attention.

The former guy didn't like the optics of being represented by a liberal. Optics is everything for him.
