House minority leader Jeffries has said they are open to negotiating, but the republicans aren't going to allow a democrat as leader when they have the majority. As dysfunctional of a majority it is. Maybe in 3 weeks as time starts running out we'll get closer to across the aisle talks. But things are so partisan now that the rep base will eat their own people alive if they dare gasp compromise.

Come on now. Let's not be insulting clowns by comparing them to the GOP. They don't deserve that.

Can confirm, Killer Klowns was terrible. The acting was absolutely horrible. The klowns were great. It was so bad it's a must see.

Gaetz is trying to raise his own profile and is only in this for himself. Basically the attention economy. Which he is getting plenty of by ousting the Speaker. Older politicians are facing more scrutiny and passing a term limits law would look good right now. He may be positioning himself to run for Florida governor in '26. Which means most of the stuff in Khanna's reforms wouldn't hurt him if he runs for state office.

I'm all for term limits and if by some weird chance Gaetz being his prick self gets it passed, then sure why not. However, I really doubt a bill like that would get passed by a republican controlled house.

He's not getting dem support unless he makes concessions. At which point he will lose rep support. He's boned if he can't whip his caucus into agreement.

Not OP, but yes. Taking the 5th in a civil trial can be used against you. However, if he doesn't take the stand then he doesn't have to take the 5th. His lawyers would be fools to let him testify. Here's hoping they were bottom of their class at law school.

Yep it's a bug. When I did an "Add to Cart" it added both games even though it only shows the one game on my wishlist.

Then tried adding to cart from my wishlist. It added both games, but on my wishlist it only shows the one game. That's just really buggy, and fortunately only unintentionally deceptive instead of intentionally.

Could be, IDK. I've seen that with a regular discount and the price gets raised when a sale starts, but never with a double discount.

Perhaps someone that has published on steam could shed more light.

Yikes! That was a privacy nightmare. We were fortunate that the university assigned a personal ID on enrollment. I think the only place that had access to the social was the front office. Of course some of the students worked at the front office. I hope they were required to sign an NDA.
