Thit seem that the problem with arm is the device tree, from what i understood, it can't be discoverable and you have to do a list for each devices.

No touch pad. I guess your limited to controller only game. No rimworld, harder time modding etc. Not really a competition for me

I ma not telling it solved anything but you have to do research and learn how to use it, you missed the part I told that you have to tweak for some games. And I don't speak specifically about wine, there are proton ge or wine ge which are options too depending of the situation you have to use vanilla wine, proton, wine ge or protonge and have to change version, it is not user friendly but it work. I play on linux since years, and it may be 2-3 year since I wasn't able to run a game. For more user friendly option you have lutris games installer which work pretty well.

Yeah they probably do, most people just change proton version and quit after trying some common options. It is pretty unhelpful for non mainstream games. Proton isn't event the best option... You have to look more into wine to set the DLL, tools or dependency which are missing. For exemple most launcher just need the winhttp component and work well. But it is nearly never suggested. Some need to explicitly add a DLL and it's version but same, it is nearly never mentioned.

Edit: I spoke about steamdb not proton db, steam db have a package section which is really helpful to identify DLL.

Lol valve. Don't care about it. I mostly don't use steam, except for multi players games when network is really needed. I pirate everything and pay for games once I knew they are good. I got triggered by your comments about linux not being ready for gaming. It beat the switch easily, it beat the Xbox easily. Don't try to make yourself a victim. Your not technical savy I guess. It can run anything with some tinkering. You can use steamdb to see what games need to install with proton or ask the developer of indie games what library they use on windows. And there is solutions for everything. I never meet a game wi can't run (except when EA sabotaged their launcher to stop linux users)

Should try the surface Linux project. It is great and make surface usable fully on touch screen.

There are thermale configuration available too in their git.

I join you, I used to change SD card and USB disk every 1-2 year. I bought a nas 3 year ago didn't need to change disk yet.

Just to add thing, I personnaly don't donate regurlarly because I am hosting services from my pocket. Not of his scale for sure but still cost me an average of 30-50€ a month. May be it is a marginal so that why they didn't think about this answer about not donating.
