there are bugs on moderating communities on other instances. like mode actions do not propagate to federated instances if done from a different instance.

you could use topgrade to update, and it will generally update with every package manager available.

i have a manjaro install that has been going for 2+ years. with a Nvidia card.

just read the wiki on every update, and follow instructions.

on install select btrfs as the filesystem and than use timeshift to do backups.

i had this issue too, deactivated it on all items.

not optimal because i had master password confirmation on the main accounts.

my issue was mainly on mobile.

• clicked autocomplete on something with master password confirmation
• the poup up for the master password appears
• write master password
• click ok
• app crash

that's not supposed to happen, please do report it to the instance admin

there are more than one app that allows you to block instances.

for example sync can filter*:

• words
• communities
• users
• instances

*filter is a sync functionality, for communities and user use block if you want to have them blocked outside sync
