Tubervile (typo, but I'm keeping it) is like McConnell - a useful hatchet man for the GOP. He's in no danger of losing his seat, has no shame, and is willing to do the dirty work regardless of how it affects his nationwide popularity.

I use one every day. I could probably write an essay on why, but one reason sticks out: tactile buttons. It's great to be able to skip a track without having to poke around on a screen to find the virtual button.

I love the small-town feel of it. It almost feels like the old-school forums, where you felt like part of a community.

The relative sparsity of comments is a major negative, but I'm hopeful that that'll change with time.

And you'd better believe that they'll have twice-a-year price hikes, Netflix-style.

Or when the fan favorite bit player suddenly gets a lot more lines and screentime, thus completely destroying the minimalist charm they originally had.

"You wouldn't download a car."

It's a shame. That recent picture of him speaking to half a dozen people in an Iowa drugstore was really inspirational.

Remember when Twitter gave a copy of its entire archive to the Library of Congress, so that researchers and historians would always have this unique document of what people were talking about online in the early 2000s?

Of course the right attacks him for the one decent thing that he's said.

Michael Cohen was one of millions and millions of people who thought, and in ever increasing numbers still think, correctly, that the 2020 Presidential Election was RIGGED & STOLLEN, AND OUR COUNTRY IS BEING ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED BECAUSE OF IT!!! MR. COHEN WAS NOT MY ATTORNEY, AND NEVER WAS.

This does lend credence to the "He's intentionally tanking Twitter" theory.
