I often do this, but I always hit Ctrl-S before running it again. Shamefully, this probably works about 10% of the time. Does that technically count as changing nothing?

I have had conversations with people who thought that Trump built the wall but that Biden "welded it open." I wish I were kidding.

The best part is when you try to find the "Contact us" option, and when you finally do, they connect you to a "Chatbot" whose sole purpose is to prevent you from talking to an actual person who might be able to solve your problem.

Waiting for the comment that's going to say something like, "Joke's on you, my parents don't even talk to me."

And when I'm in a mixed group of strangers and that 1 person I'm comfortable with, it's a mixed bag as to which me shows up.

I love how some people think that she's a "moderate" simply because she's not actively trying to destroy democracy out in the open like Trump is.

You know how the GOP is impeaching Biden as a tit-for-tat for Trump? I can imagine, say, the Wisconsin state legislature trying to remove Biden from the ballot. They'll argue something stupid like "Biden committed insurrection by not supporting fetal rights." Then it'll be up to SCOTUS, of Bush v. Gore fame. They could easily say something like, "Trump hasn't been convicted of insurrection, so Trump must go on the ballot in Colorado. However, since Joe Biden is ignoring Dobbs, Biden is ineligible for the ballot in Wisconsin." Call me paranoid, but I'm not very optimistic about how this will play out.

I love how the GOP is constantly whining about things like inflation, but do they ever actually try to address those issues? No, they just focus on trying to get university presidents fired and other kinds of purely performative theater.

I used to live near this Thai place that closed and reopened "under new management" every few months or so. They kept the name and even had the same menus, except sometimes they'd cross out items in Sharpie and write new items in the margin.

It was the best restaurant in town, and I admired their persistence.
