I think this is also the reason they have so many failures lately. They used to have no problem attracting top talent. I don't think that's the case any more.

I don't know if we can create AGI. Saying that something is impossible because we haven't done it yet is disingenuous, though, and has been proven wrong countless times throughout history. None of this has anything to do with religion, by the way.

I'm not trying to defend fascists in any way shape or form. I'm just saying that unfortunately they're pretty much everywhere these days. And if you go to Japan to avoid racism, you're in for a surprise.

So, which country would you recommend people go to? Like, where there's no racism?

The current generation of LLMs won't take over the world. It will take several more breakthroughs of a similar magnitude to get anywhere close to AGI. That may still be decades away but it could also happen next Tuesday.
