Which is a fair point, but also at the local level is where it's more challenging, because not only are you getting involved with things that more directly affect you, but also you can make yourself a target to those that want to push change in the other direction, so of course not everyone is up to that task and that's why the overly aggressive conservatives constantly eat our lunches on the local level, and why they tend to scare off folks trying to change things at the local level.

This is happening all across the country, it's why many of the more moderate Republicans have resigned or left their party, their districts, and it's a barrier for Left leaning folks. I believe in Margorie Taylor Greene's district one of the contenders against her was harassed and threatened to the point of dropping out of the race.

The Left needs brave people that are ready to lay their lives on the line for what we believe, the stakes are as high as they've ever been, and so is the danger, and it's not like we can count on the authorities to do their jobs to protect us, because they've clearly shown that they are either incapable or unwilling, especially the fact that the thin blue line flag now flies in every law enforcement building, and if anything that flag is synonymous with fascism, MAGA, and police protectionism from consequences.

Joe Biden is not wrong when he says that this election is "a battle for the soul of the nation" because quite obviously it is, and if Trump is elected there will he no progress made politically against this type of stuff anytime soon.

The kids didn't go to Phil, the parents did, and the parents already showed that they are shit by the way the kids were raised, they were just looking to offload the responsibility of their failures as parents to some abusive shitheads disguising their abusive nature and behaviors behind Drill Instructor smokies and military facades. The children may be delinquents, but behind almost every delinquent child is a victim, a victim of abuse, a victim of poverty, a victim of a society that couldn't give two shits about them once they were born.

I do feel the same way about "fuck Russia", the problem is Putin, his allies, and his supporters, I'm not sure if this is just an attempt to whataboutism me, but it's important to remember to be objective about these things, especially when prior to 2014 things seemed to he going pretty well between the US and Ruzzia.
