  • Together with misinformation spreading faster than light. During the rise of Internet I thought we could finally turn the world into a better place, spreading knowledge, educating the planet. Instead, the shittiest, most toxic ideas finally got a faster train to get on. Good luck dumping money into education to help people filter out shady sources. Especially when you actually got into power by spreading that shitty misinformation to begin with (this latter bit is not about Ukraine, more like other countries such as Hungary).

  • "I see you have a dead root up there. Please sit back and I will just pop all your teeth out, and then this stuff will regrow all of them in no time."

EDIT: As bad as it sounds, I would go for it unironically. Not just because my mouth is a mess, but also because my teeth grew out quite jammed, and a factory reset may solve that.

  • What drives me mad is that 99.7% of the time you should be able to do everything through the browser without installing the 107th app. But they REALLY have to access your camera, microphone, files, location and body temperature in order to use the same shitty HTML wrapper just to show two input fields and some text.

  • I've been terrified of spiders since I was a toddler. Still, whenever I say hi to Pete who set up his web in the corner just above my one and only house plant, I think about the nasty stuff he gobbles up so that I don't have to deal with them. Thanks, Pete. Stay away, but thanks. You'll be kept warm in the winter. :::: )

  • Wow, thanks for the detailed answer! I wouldn't mind a paid service as long as it's not significantly more expensive than what Google can offer. However, I'm a bit more conscious regarding data security. I checked on mega.io and I've read mixed opinions.

  • As someone who just converted from Chrome to Firefox 1-2 months ago: what alternative can you recommend to Google Drive? I wouldn't miss everything from it, but being able to easily share data (so that they can play videos, audio files or documents without having to manually download them) is one of them.

EDIT: and maybe Google Photos. Mainly for syncing.
