I've just made the Switch to Linux for my gaming PC. I'm running Bazzite right now and it mostly worked. I had some trouble with my Bluetooth controller and speakers but they started working after I switched over to desktop mode and then restarted.
A lot of the troubles I'm having are mainly because it's an atomic distro instead of a normal one but that's on me. I figured an atomic distro would make it less likely I would accidentally break something.
How about they publicly warn about it as well as follow up with some criminal charges. We have systems in place to stop all of this but it requires the officials to grow a spine and actually use them.
It's one of my favorite Star Trek episodes for that very reason. It's an excellent trolley problem that forced Archer to do something bad to completely innocent people to save even more people.
I agree. The Fediverse stuff is really well suited for governments and businesses. They can be in complete control of their instance, post whatever information they want distributed, and they don't need to rely on any other business for it.
Its odd that you haven't come across any complaints since almost everytime this game comes up in online threads that I visit, it's filled with people criticizing it.
It's been so long I thought they had dropped the IP. The first game has some issues but it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. Hopefully they addressed the issues with the first game.
I would say that the issue is not who is doing the pardoning but who is being pardoned. There's a clear difference between Hunter being pardoned and Russian assets being pardoned.
I think the real answer is all of the above. Biden waited too long to drop out, which didn't give enough time to properly hold a primary. This resulted in Harris being nominated with no way to gauge how popular she would be. She then ran a terrible campaign spending too much time courting moderate Republicans. This resulted in progressives being disillusioned and not voting. Her stance on Israel and Gaza turned away Arab voters who also didn't vote. All of this combined together to pave the way for a second Trump presidency.
The real problem is that these people get away with it. There are no consequences to their actions. If no one is going to hold them accountable then it's not just a belief they have, they really are above the law.
I imagine what they're trying to contain are angry Puerto Ricans living in the US from going out and voting. The higher the voter turnout is, the greater the chance of Harris winning. Making Democrats angry enough to actually go out and vote is definitely something the Republicans want to contain.
Not sure when things changed but all I know is that when I bought mine years ago the Kobo site redirected me to Walmart and that's where I had to buy it. My e-reader even displays the Walmart logo on it when I power it off.
I've always felt that we support Israel for the same reason we support Ukraine. They're a friendly military force located in a region of the world where we have enemies. Ukraine helps counter Russia and the same for Israel during the Soviet Union era. Now Israel is a counter to Iran and various terrorist groups.
