  • It helped me figure out how to find things on the Internet that interest me.

    I've actually gotten an ex-boyfriend and a free dentist appointment out of Reddit, but it was because I was part of small niche groups that helped me connect with them.

    It's something I hope as Lemmy grows, it'll bring those smaller niche groups with them as well. Otherwise, it's one less resource I have available.
