  • The current amount of universal credit for a single person is about £80 a week. The average gas and electric is £168, water is what, £25? Council tax, phone/broadband (because you now need internet access for universal credit), you're at around £250 just for bills. That leaves around £70 to live on for the month, for food, transport, clothes, anything else you need. It's impossible to live on.

  • There's been a shortage of baby milk powder lately and people can get quite a bit if they steal it, like £20 a can plus, especially for the specialist ones like lactose free. I know there's people living on just grabbing it when it comes into the shops and selling it on once it's sold out. I'm sure shoplifting it is even more profitable.

  • I think it's pretty similar to what makes a good person, empathy, kindness, that sort of stuff.

A lot of the monarchs better thought of are the ones who made social reforms, bettering the lives of others much lower down the totem pole.

Like all people, it's kind of impossible to be all good, so even with the good ones there's awful stuff there, but it's all relative.

  • You need the chlorine, you need to always put the cover on, and you need the net to get the bugs out.

It feels much less luxury when you come out in the morning to a green tub full of flies and spiders.

  • Lot's of comments about dominance. This is an old erronous theory about dog behaviour based on a botched study. Dogs hump for many reasons, sexual is the obvious one, but also being nervous or poorly socialised.

What you should do is stop the behaviour, move your dog or theirs away and tell the owner to come get their dog.

If it happens in certain scenarios you can also stop it before the behaviour, so a common scenario is two dogs are playing, one dog gets overstimulated and then jumps on to hump, in that scenario you'd want to watch for earlier signs of overstimulation, wanting to stop, panting heavily, whale eyes, and stopping the play at that point.

  • Pisang Ambon, banana liqueur, I tried it in a bar in Spain, really liked it, and bought it. But what do you do with Banana Liqueur in your house? Nothing mixes well with that. Occasionally I sip it, but I've had it a decade and drunk maybe a third.

  • It's all linked. You can access your whatsapp from your phone to your laptop and it transfers place to place. You may have set up a new whatsapp on her new phone rather than just signing in but in that case you can just sign out and into the old one, they're not gone.

  • They knew it was coming way before it did. Boris had no messages before a certain date and claimed it was cause he had a new phone.

Labour MPs, and everyone else in the modern world, have pointed out that isn't how Whatsapp works, but his answer was basically "Oh well"
