Capitalism is self regulating if people are willing to fight for there workers rights and not take a job that pays less and cheats there workers. Those busniess will raise there wage and improve work enviroment. Or will no longer be in bussniess, because they went bankrupt.

I appreciate you hearing me out and yeah, I've seen you around (in a non stalkery way lol) and you don't strike me as someone who would support her, but this one meme kinda does? But then, I'm looking at it from the very far left, it would absolutely hit home with a more liberal crowd, which is probably more the target audience, so it might be just right for that. 🤷‍♀️

This is the issue, not criticising Swift in general.

OP misses the mark in my eyes, not because the misogyny isn't fuelling the recent wave of criticism from the right (who couldn't give two fucks about emissions since they don't believe in climate change), but because it lumps all criticism of Swift together, valid or not, almost feeling like it's pro-Swift rather than being anti-misogyny, and fuck being pro Swift, and excusing any of her actions (downsizing from two jets to one isn't worthy of any praise nor defence, it's not like she can use both at once, and is still flying just as much).

You can (and should) call out misogynists without defending the billionaire.

If anything - seeing that kind of certification would make me actively avoid a company because you know they're at best using it to virtue signal for profits, at worst and more likely, they're using it to cover up much much worse shit they're doing.

Assuming the clone is in the same physical and mental condition I'm in? None. I wouldn't knowingly inflict the pain I'm in on to any creature, and they wouldn't be of much use to me anyway if they're just in bed with me all day.

Assuming the clone is "fresh" and pain free? I still don't know that I would, having just someone else's memories of a fabulous vacation is worse than not going at all, and I'm not sure creating memories of cleaning and cooking and admin is worth having a clone doing it all.

For those reasons, I'm out. lol

E: Actually, scrap that, inspired by MxRemy and StellarTabi's replies - create all the clones if they're in pain, wheel them where they need to be, wrap them up with explosives and send a whole load to the door of each and every billionaire alive today so their assets can be seized in a coordinated attack. I'll take those memories, if it means we can be free.

On a more serious note, this is actually a perfect demonstration of why intersectionality is vital, and how classism and sexism intersect - this isn't, and shouldn't be reduced to "either/or", we can hate and fight against billionaires for being exploitative oppressive capitalists, and misogynists who only hate Swift for being a woman singing for other women..

Not one, but several have used their "inceldom" in their manifestos before going on mass shootings (often targeting, or trying to target women exclusively) and many other shooters were active members of incel forums (and many active incel forum users who still haven't gone on a shooting spree openly talk about going on one).

I will strongly second whenigrowup356 - stay as far away from these people and their spaces as possible, they are toxic violent terrorists, and you should not only not want anything to do with them, but also not let them convince you to feel sorry for them, because as opposed to what they call themselves, the state they are in is anything but "involuntary".

I think is wrong.
The whole problem is that the patriarchy absolutely teaches (especially white) men that women are objects, and that men are entitled to women and sex (but that only virginal women are worthy of marriage).
Some men unlearn this shit early on, some remain "neutral" assholes (those who will end up abusing but aren't doing it consciously out of ideology, but still from the same sense of entitlement), and some take the entitlement to the extreme and adopt it as their ideology and way of life, but I think it's really fucking important to highlight that they are in fact not taught anything different by society before that point, they just take their entitlement to another level once they've found others to confirm it for them.

Either way, the name is a complete misnomer - they aren't "involuntarily" celibate, they are celibate because they actively refuse to not be walking entitled pieces of shit.

The door to door thing might be reserved to some sects, and is absolutely a modern invention.

What isn't is the crusades, where Christianity literally waged war on the world to try and violently convert as many people to it as possible, and once they had enough power from doing that, white and Christian supremacist colonial and imperial missionary work took over, the results of which are ongoing and still felt around the world today (for example and on topic, anti gay attitudes and legislation imposed by colonisers and imperialists on those they were forcing to convert, that still prevail).

And that's without even going in to what the church does and has done to its own people.

So lets not pretend like Christianity is this innocent little lamb that is being wrongly targeted as a dangerous and violent idea organisation that at it's very basis is about converting as many people to it as possible, kind of like a cancer.

Can you be a good Christian individually? Sure. Can organised and institutionalised religion be excused for the atrocities it was and still is responsible for (where do you think all the riches of the Vatican come from? God?)? Absolutely not, and by defending it, rather than calling out its faults, you are upholding the status quo instead of investing your energy in to bettering the religion you're obviously so attached to.

This whole thing (the removable label to supposedly make the bottle more recyclable) is an exercise in futility and virtue signalling to the "green" demographic for profit, aka greenwashing.
