  • How, if possible, can I log in to say, discuss.online above, with this account. Or do I need to make a second account over there.

You can view/comment/vote on all of the content there while logged into lemmy.world. As an example, you should be able to click this !flipperzero@programming.dev and participate there. or !AskUSA@discuss.online.

Also, related, is there a way to just, use my Mastodon account, and drop this one completely?

I am not a fan of "microblogging", so I am not 100% certain. I have seen a lot of posts/comments from Mastodon on lemmy instances, they are the people using hashtags.

Kbin and Mbin are Lemmy-like systems that also hooks into microblogging much easier, so you might be able to do a one account thing there much easier.

Again, not certain because microblogging is not my jam.

  • I've never met someone in real life who was born after World War 2 who liked these, and I don't think I've seen anyone eat one since 2000.

Some people obviously love them, but not that many. The "severed testicle soaking in bloody-cum" art on the box isn't really drawing new people in.

  • It's more like a mob of people on bikes.

Someone far away from the school, normally a parent and their child, bikes to school, and people add to the group when it goes by their house. Since people who drive are often distracted, being in a group is much safer than a child biking alone.

  • The mine + yours thing is intimate. You are experiencing the same thing at the same time, while being somewhat vulnerable to the other participant.

    Looking into someone's eyes
    Holding someone's hand
    Kissing someone's lips
    Frotting

Smelling someone's nose doesn't quite feel like it would fit the list.

  • Infowars was/is a media company, Alex Jones' show was on TV and online.
They are known for peddling and creating far right conspiracy theories, and because of this were often banned from social media websites for breaking their Terms of Service.
Because Elon is a right-wing conspiracy theorist who likes Alex Jones, he unbanned infowars from Twitter when he(Elon) bought it.

Inforwars was recently sued into the ground because of the claims he made to his audience about the victims of school shootings and their families. Because of this, he was ordered to have his assets liquidated.
The Onion (a satirical news/comedy website) won the bid for Inforwars and its assets, and Elon isn't a fan of this, so he's trying to not allow The Onion access to the Inforwars Twitter account.
