Where I work, everything can be done remotely. We use cloud based software for everything and teams for company meetings. We're still required to come into the office. If you can't make it in for that day, you need to use PTO. We cannot choose to take the day unpaid either. I do not have the option to work while home.
Sorry you're getting downvoted for being correct. I went to school for game design and decided to change career paths when I found out everything is contract work. Once a game is finished, you're out of a job and need to search for another studio to work for.
To be honest, I'm not too sure. I'm not really asking questions that requires me to verify the source. Next time I have a question, I'll check if it can link the sources that were used based on the information given. I've mainly been using it recently to update the verbiage for my wife's resume or how many days it's been from a specific date so I can track the progress of my plants.
I already have for most things I used to use Google search for. Now days there's about a 10% chance I'll get the actual results I'm looking for with Google. Most time I start with Google because of my former habits, give up and chatgpt gives me the exact answer I was looking for.
A single box of cereal now days typically goes for 5-9 dollars depending on what you get, then there's a gallon of milk for another 3-5. That's already a quarter of their monthly budget. $40 in current times is nothing when it comes to groceries. This is disgustingly low from the "think of the children" party.
This year, my 6 yr old nephew got super big into Pokémon. Everytime he comes over, he shows me his Pokémon cards that he's collecting and all the new Pokémon he's caught in Let's Go Eevee. Eevee is his all time favorite Pokémon so when he leaned that was your starter in the game, he was jumping up and down with joy! Gotta love seeing the same excitement I had with Pokémon red back in the day.
I can see how it gets out of hand very quickly. I just used one of those payment methods for the first time a month ago. Told myself that it's being paid off in full before I do this again.
As someone who grew up in a very religious household, I can tell you without a doubt in my mind, the worst people I ever met were the church crowd. Everyone was so nice to each other inside the building but as soon as the service was over, people showed their real colors in the parking lot.
You'd get parents screaming at their kids for "misbehaving" during the boring ass sermon, cars bolting out of their parking spaces with no disregard for other people walking, cars battling each other to try and get out of the lot before the other guy.. You know.. Cause football was starting soon.
Go get em champ!
