  • So you raise an argument, I respond by telling you it's not the main argument I'm seeing itt, and your response is to point back at your singular comment?

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you 100%, but most people here are just mad they can't get YT for free as easily anymore.

  • Yes, as is the right of the company as it's their service. People pretend it's unfair for Google to monetise YT and they should get access to YT unrestricted just because they found a way to use add blockers. Yt is free to try and monetise their service as good as they can, whether we like it or not

  • I'm not saying the ads on Yt are acceptable, there's no argument from me there. I'm saying a lot of people here are saying a company charging time or money for their services is wrong, and I disagree with that. It's fair for Google to charge or give ads, and it's fair for us to flock away because of it.

Google owes you nothing, and you don't owe Google anything either.

  • I get that losing something you previously had access to is frustrating, but people here act like they should have the privilege to get YouTube for free. That's not how a company works.

Who here expected a company like this to pass up on making more money by allowing add blockers? You were cheating the system, and the system caught up. It sucks. Either find a new way to cheat the system or accept that they won.

  • Thats funny because I live in a country that is significantly more left leaning than the US and yet our poverty and homelessness is significantly lower than yours.

Oh and it would help if you stop blaming each other for the problems in your country and start looking at the ones actually making the decisions to be responsible for them as well.

  • In my opinion this entire debate is not political at all but is simply made to be a political statement because people don't understand it.

Having someone forbid the use of cheese in video games because that person doesn't like cheese is just never going to happen. If cheese comes out to be an extreme health hazard like smoking it can become political but if the only argument is "because I don't like it" you are always going to be wrong.

Your arguing about taste and feelings. There is no point to it, as there is nothing to convince. At that point you are just telling someone their taste or feeling is wrong.

But for some reason people think they can influence someone else's own feelings about how they feel when they get addressed as their birth gender. And for some reason it is made into a political problem because of how strongly people think they have to have control over this. It doesn't affect them, and the only possible outcome is that a minority will suppress their emotions. There are no competing values in any way.

I don't like cheese, but you won't hear me bitching about people eating cheese next to me in a restaurant even if I don't like the smell. And you especially won't see me making this political, because that is so incredibly selfish and ignorant that it wouldn't even be something I'd ever consider.

  • Well nothing in particular, I've been done with the rate of MTG product releases for a while now, hate the universe beyond as for me it damages the feel of the game significantly, and the overall price increase is just rude at this point.

  • How are these people not seeing that they are actively trying to censor shit with the shyte excuse "keep politics out of my games", and then turn around and yell censorship as soon as people ignore their bigoted crap.

You don't need to answer, it's rhetorical.

  • It's not even value at this point. They are so rich it doesn't have an impact on their lives anymore if they slave us all 4 more hours every week, and yet they want to keep squeezing.

The world is a strange place.
