My family is all on iMessage. I told them if they didn't install Signal I wouldn't reply to their texts.
At first, whenever they texted I would just reply with something that looked automated like "This user is no longer available via text message. Please install Signal if you wish to communicate."
Forgetting politics, I liked Brave. But sometimes they do seem a little shady. I'm loving Librewolf even more, though there's no Android version. It does sync with Firefox and Mull though.
Sync works great over here. It even syncs history which is great because I use an extension on the laptop to limit history to 28 days and that becomes synced with Android without an additional extension.
Thank you for your effort, but I honestly already knew all this. What I want to know is why one couldn't simply report 60hz to fingerprinters while, in reality, maintaining the highest possible rate in the browser.
I don't want to turn off resist fingerprinting but that refresh rate ruins the browser for me.
I would use mull if they only increased that refresh rate. But as it is now, I use Firefox on mobile in the strictest tracking protection mode and UBO.
I agree with you on this much of the time. Especially on sites today that have ads. The fediverse doesn't have that problem.
But the mobile web interface isn't that great yet for Lemmy. Pixelfed's web interface is so good I debate whether or not to use an app but Lemmy isn't there yet.
As far as I know, you are correct. My main browser is Librewolf and search engine is DDG. But I still use Brave when I rarely need a chromium browser or alternate search engine and he gains nothing from that.
That doesn't sound better, for an end user anyway.
