  • I used librewolf until there was some concern about them updating in a timely manner.

Now I used Firefox with Phoenix to maybe get the best of both worlds and IronFox on mobile.

  • Thanks for the help, but it's still not doing anything. I want F6 to be volume up. I press the key (and nothing happens) then I hit enter. Nothing appears in the keybinding field. It is empty and hitting F6 does not increase volume. No function keys or escape key enters anything into the field.

  • Switching function keys and media keys is exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, my BIOS does not offer this feature.

Looking at your instructions, I see XFI6AudioRaiseVolume and a pen beside it which I would expect to allow me to edit it, along with an option to Add Keybinding. If I try to edit the field nothing happens. I expected to simply strike the key that I wanted assigned to that feature. If I want F6 to be volume up then what goes here?

  • Fair enough, but so far that hasn't bothered me. I've used librewolf for a year which seems to have most of the same hardening and it doesn't break the particular sites I use.

So far, the only site that didn't work was bsky and the solution was a simple permission.

  • I hate this "feature" of the Dexcom GCM app. They seem to believe that HIPPA law prevents me from sharing my glucose readings with anyone I choose to.

To send readings to people, I can't screenshot the app but I can screenshot the notification which contains the same info 🤷🏼

  • I really don't mind the single spam I've gotten so far and I accepted the request just because I enjoy playing with them.

SimpleX seems pretty nice but I had enough trouble converting my family to Signal. Did you there isn't feature parity between the iOS and Android versions?

  • I was going to say I miss nothing but you reminded me of what I really miss. Mac Preview. It was so versatile and did a lot for a little built in program.

I used to use Sushi for gnome but it never did all file types and it stopped working for me a while back. I have never gotten it to work right again since.
