I'm in the minority but I don't even watch the original anymore. It's dated even if people act like it isn't.

Ah yeah, that's a good idea. Everyone seems to want to make changing instances out to be this thing that never happens, but at the stage in the game it's definitely commonplace.

On that note, the account picker needs to be cleaned up, because right now it's a guessing game for longer instance names to figure out which instance you're logging in to.

I run a motorcycle community specific to the model we ride, and unfortunately not getting much traction.

Unfortunately these communities thrive off original 1st party content, DIY fixes, new purchases, questions etc.

I'm having trouble generating that organically.

We need lemmy searches to show up in Google. Then we can name topics appropriately (read; accurately) so that they are found by more people.
