Do you guys have any idea how vindicating it is that people are finally seeing what a bunch of us suspected from the beginning? Mr. Beast has always come across as fake and I used to get SO MUCH SHIT for not fully supporting the guy making poor people compete for money to pay bills (and just giving the win to his friends instead).

The "holes in the wall" in my area are all more expensive than fast food because the rich farm owner yuppies come to cosplay rural living in my town.

Something I did that helped make the jump was buying a separate drive to put linux on and removing my windows drive. It makes the act of switching back to windows take more effort, but didn't remove the possibility altogether.

I also got an enclosure for my M.2 and can use the windows drive as a super fast thumb drive and use that to transfer the files from the windows drive that I care to keep on linux. (none of it is critical, not worth doing proper back ups)

Doesn't matter, less time on twitter is better, even if bluesky ends up the same way. Something else will be less shit and worth going to then.
