  • In fairness, that's 2 out of like 6-9 games.

    Fallout 3 is set in the DC area.

    I'm sure you know where New Vegas was set.

    Fallout 4 is in the Boston area.

    Fallout 76 is in the Appalachian region.

    Tactics (which was a solid game and I'll fight anyone who claims otherwise) was set around Chicago.

    We do not acknowledge the existence of Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.

    Fallout Shelter just plain doesn't count. Nothing ties it to a setting anyways.

  • Sports games have been doing it faaaar longer. Madden started in 1988, released a sequel in 1990, then hasn't missed a year ever since. The baseball and basketball counterparts existed just as long.
