  • American, but I enjoy beer and have tried hundreds. I tend to like sweeter or richer Belgian and German ales the most. Things like König Ludwig, Tripel Karmeliet, Augustiner, Weihenstephaner, Ayinger, Paulaner, and St. Bernardus will always top my list.

If you like those, here are some US recommendations that are also damn good. Note, some of these are quite regional.

    • Tröeg's - Mad Elf
    • Fat Heads - Alpenglow
    • Boulevard - Bourbon Barrel Quad
    • Royal Docks - VLAD
    • Dark Horse - Scotty Karate
    • Descutes - The Abyss
    • Fat Heads - Goggle Fogger
    • Sierra Nevada - Kellerweiss
    • Terrestrial - Blue Dream
    • Thirsty Dog - Irish Setter Red
    • Penn Brewery - Penn Weizen
    • Ommegang - Manhattan Shine
    • Sibling Revelry - Lavender Wit
    • Ithaca - Apricot Wheat

Also, shoutout to almost anything by Unibroue - They're from Montreal, but hey that's not Europe.

  • It was just a nibble!

  • Later: We all have 8 different flavors of cancer from these

  • It's the same situation as if the president became ill or incapacitated in some way.

This has already happened 3 4 times; once for Reagan, twice for GW Bush, and once for Biden (see comment below). In these cases it was quite brief.

  • Wood Science must be a rather strange field.

  • 1 mL of pure water weighs exactly 1 g at 20 °C and 1 atm pressure :) It's a defined standard, useful for calibrating other things.

  • 1 mL. Studying chemistry has made that extremely useful and now other units seem ridiculous.

If we're talking about geology or oceanography though, cubic meters are fine.

  • NAND and NOR are swapped. Pretty good otherwise 😄

Huh, it's actually correct. I remembered the logic gates but not how they translate to words, heh.

Here's how it works. Thanks to everyone who pointed it out. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Morgan's_laws

  • I don't know a lot of card games, but I thought the row system was neat in Gwent (i.e. frontline, middle, backline).

I also like the aura enchantments in Magic: The Gathering. They tend to change up the battlefield in interesting ways.

  • This is how I feel a lot of times. But I did at least have the sense to go for Endeavour rather than straight to Arch (and prior to that, Manjaro and Ubuntu).

  • Misread this as MO (Missouri) for a sec and I was ready to be flabbergasted.

    Anyway, good job Maryland!

  • A: None; it was Devon.

  • Welcome to the penguin side! I made the switch over a year ago and it's honestly been fantastic.

  • Ohh. I use a separate phone for work so I didn't notice that. Yeah search bar would've been a better spot for sure.
