Your logic seems very flawed.

1. They currently don’t know I have guns.
2. If a situation arises where guns are needed, I am equipped to survive (hence the guns), while they are not (I.E. No guns).
3. If it is eventually known that I have guns the remaining fearful wounded neighbors probably won’t want to attack a someone who has guns and neutralized a threat which they could not.

But it is better to have many guns and not need them, than have no guns and need one. I would encourage my neighbors to buy guns so everyone was prepared.

People should be safe from slavery. Convicted murderers, pedophiles, rapists and criminals who are serving a prison sentence should not.

Just because we are pro 2A does not mean we have any obligation to defend you. I have no intention of risking my life or the lives of my family to save others. My firearms are there to protect me and my family.

You have the same rights available to ensure your own safety. If you choose not to take agency for your own safety then that choice and its consequences are yours and yours alone.

Perhaps you may need your own safe space. But be assured you will find me where a Pro 2A view is needed.

I’m glad that you recognize on some level that firearms empower individuals to take agency for their own safety and protection. I realize this thought is but a small seed but hopefully it will grow in time.

You’re falling into a cognitive fallacy that many fanatic gun grabbers seem to exhibit. You assume a crime will be committed in the future based on owning an inanimate object.

Pro 2A enjoyers reject that fallacy. An inanimate object does not have agency. Agency is held by the individual. The individual should enjoy the benefits and responsibilities from the use of an object as well as the consequences of misuse that come with it. The group should not be punished for the crimes of a few.

Law abiding citizens that own guns are not criminals and we reject assertions that we are wrong for owning an object. The safest most law abiding segment of society are conceal and carry permit holders. Millions of us carry every day and do not break the law and do no harm to others.
