  • If it was a one-off, I wouldn't care. But this is pervasive on the internet. Every article assumes you're American and care about America.

  • The article has several points that are American specific.

  • Every article doesn't need to be written for a global audience, but it should specify who the audience is. The title and intro don't specify American. It should say "100 ways white Americans ...". So the rest of the world doesn't waste time reading this crap that isn't relevant for them.

  • This is focused at Americans. Don't assume readers on the internet are from your country.

  • It is going to make you more likely to consider resolutions though.

  • True, but I never said that. It was once cause.

  • Are you suggesting that delays don't impact the cost? Or that the impact of those delays doesn't account for the 4x budget overrun?

I think it's only one factor in the budget overrun, but still worth mentioning.

  • While that conclusion is probably true, I don't think you can conclude that from the data.

  • Some anti nuclear groups do everything they can to slow down nuclear builds, putting as many road blocks in the way as possible. Then when it's slow they say: see, building nuclear plants is slow!

  • If you do a bad enough job, it's a very ethical thing to do. You're much more likely to take them down from the inside.

  • Cars are unsafe at any speed. Get them off the roads.

  • Boobs look like they're drops of water, just about to drip. So there's a certain anticipation there. Our brains are wired to predict where action and movement is going to be.

  • If people ask why you're vegan, focus on the positives of veganism. I say: the food's delicious, I feel healthier, and I like animals.

It frames it as something you benefit from, rather than depriving yourself of something.
