  • Before it was restored following the start of excavations some 40 years ago, Pucllana was routinely looted and abused. At one point,** a factory was using Pucllana's sand and clay to make bricks**.

    I’m sorry, but WHAT

  • For that, policymakers will have to stop being wishywashy and actually commit to some sort of action on Pakistan, beyond just propping up their economy with bailout packages that will eventually end up in China’s pockets.

  • It’s also funny how all these aliens keep crashing into the US, where three-letter agencies are fantastic at coverups, and none of ‘em end up in countries where it’d be much harder to hide something like this.

  • It’s probably not the only Filter either. As soon as we’ve passed the ‘climate’ filter, we’ll presumably have to deal with something else.

  • So have other forums. Maybe it’s just these newfangled social media websites that have longevity issues?

  • Not to mention, roads are also used for logistics.

  • Even crazier is the belief that women would start craving horses as lovers if they kept riding horesback. Like…wut

  • And what should they do instead? Should they be ‘fairer’ and let everyone else have just as much access to an iPhone user’s data as they do, with very little transparency?

  • He won’t stop it. Knowing Trump, he’ll believe that running from prison will help his chances.

Knowing his voters, it most likely will.

  • Even if everyone agrees it’s bad, nobody wants to deal with the decrease in quality of life it’ll take to fix it; least of all those who won’t suffer as much, or will be dead long before the worst of it starts to hit.

  • It’s a shame, but tribalism is built into our species; the moment someone gets even a whiff of ‘us vs them’, it comes back into the forefront.

  • Good to know!

  • It might sound horribly ageist, but I’m inclined to agree. Representing the interests of millions upon millions of people is an incredibly taxing and demanding job, which nobody in their 80s should still be doing; especially not without some sort of fitness test.

  • interesting yet complex

Makes sense that an explainer on the technology would be an appropriate match for it lol
