Aside from you being transphobic, you should realize that the people complaining about pronouns are also the people who complain about the "replaced white people" and "female leaders" in the game. So I guess black people and women are also political, by your logic?

Terrible analogy. It's just turning the binary male / female into non binary body types & pronouns to be more inclusive for those who fall outside the norm on the spectrum of things.

When you meet Sam & Cora they'll refer to you by your pronoun while they talk about you.
The whole thing is just to make the character generation non binary, that's it. I don't see why this is such a big deal for some people. I'm a cis male, I select a masculine body type and go with he / him, or maybe they / them, and be done with it. It does nothing but help others feel more included.

And it is their platform, that's why they care. They can dictate what is and isn't allowed there.

And the "replaced white people". And the female leaders. If someone wants a taste, go through the Steam forums for the game. It's a complete deranged mess.

I tried Gnome first since I haven't tested it long before their Unity overhaul and it was way worse. Really the worst desktop experience I've had (you can check my posts for a summary thread of my experience). The issues I have under KDE I did not have on any other distro so there must be something weird he's done with it.

Eh, for now. All the rolling release distros I tried were a disappointment in one way or another and Nobara has quite a lot of issues too that I can't find solutions for. But I guess I don't have anything to hop onto at the moment.

With UncensoredNews it was the media coverage I believe. Wasn't good for Reddit's image when they started to openly use literal Nazi symbols in their subreddit style. Reddit itself has no issues with far right extremists radicalizing on their platform. There's /r/europe and a bunch of UK subs that are also always pretty openly spewing pretty disgusting Nazi commentary.

I was considering using they / them for a second, just for shits & giggles, but then thought it's likely not even really used in a lot of dialogs anyway (very much true after many hours later now). In hindsight it would have probably just confused me though, thinking they talk about someone else. Because I am super tired from literally playing too much, which completely fucks with my concentration & attention span. lol

Honestly, the game is exactly what I expected from all the pre-release info. It's a Bethesda RPG in space. I didn't expect a space sim, so I didn't expect any sort of dynamic streaming for seamless planetary transitions and the likes, because they very clearly stated that this wasn't a thing.

And the capital G Gamers seem to be more bothered by pronouns, body types, female leaders, all the "replaced white people", etc. lol

Yeah. They even pulled air defense from a disputed island in the east. Seems like Russia is starting to run out of critical equipment. Thinned out air defense is a pretty bad sign for them, not just in regards to Ukraine's ongoing drone warfare, but also their upcoming F-16 jets and compatible weapons.

Fuck cars, regardless if driven by humans or robots.
