So you're going to work in a cooler and your workplace does neither provide you with appropriate work clothes, nor do they even give you any advice on what you'd need?!
Maybe 50% of the respect that they lost from the botched release & pre-release lies. This should not be an example of how to do things, because that'd lead to it becoming an actual business model.
Yes. An early access is meant not to be a release version so everyone can wait for a 1.0 release if they want. NMS released as a 1.0 release, except that it was more of an overpromised 0.1 release. Sean Murray straight up lied to people about the game.
Games like Project Zomboid, which I play & follow for almost 14 years now, have never claimed to be finished during all their time, or promised features that weren't there.
Guess which title I still regret buying?
I hope they really learned their lesson with this one and don't make the same mistake with their other title. Otherwise Murray will become the next Molyneux. Or worse, I hope they don't learned that they can release a purposefully incomplete game by withholding features and content, adding simple easy to fix bugs, just to add & fix all that over the following months & years to be seen as game dev heroes. That'd be a terrifying new business model.
I only used the Duke on the actual Xbox, while I use my current pad on my PC - or at least very rarely. There's generally more games on the PC where I can make use of the dpad (retro & indie gaming). Never really had to use it on the Xbox back then.
The 360 & One pad look nearly the same to me in regards to their form. I have a 360 one still and I hate it because the dpad is the absolute worst garbage. It's inaccurate as hell and gets tiring real quick. Really struggled with that in CrossCode. I also hate how only the Chinese pads seem to have hall sensors.
Duke? Is that the Xbox 1 pad? Because I actually loved that. It's a chunker but was very comfortable for my larger hands. Reminded me a lot about the Dreamcast gamepads.
Really weird way to look at it. Mods are basically fan art. It's from people who appreciate the original work so much that they want to diversify the experience. Yes, you change the original work to a degree, sometimes vastly, but that's not meant as a disrespect to the original work. But I guess this is also people having their heads deep up in Nintendo's ass specifically, who has always been extremely toxic & hostile towards any sort of fan modding or recreations. I guess that sort of corporate dominance leaves a mark on people. The West has different but similar corporate based rewiring / brainwashing for their products too.
“That’s one of the reasons the America First rhetoric resonates,”
Bullshit. The moment you bring up social programs to MAGGATS they'll call it socialism or communism.
And war? I guess today the US, who prides itself for having fought the Nazis, would likely just want to appease Hitler and let him do his thing in Europe. At least that's better than WW2, right?
Stop spreading disinformation (again). Wayland was a fucking mess and caused countless of issues, especially in a lot of "edge cases". Meanwhile, dumbos were spreading lies about how it runs perfect and without issues while I kept switching back to X after merely minutes to hours whenever I tried to use Wayland again. It's just bullshit that never was grounded in reality. Even now there's games & applications who don't run with Wayland, and likely never will since they have zero incentive to do so or aren't even in active development anymore and that stupid X11 bridge still is required to run in the background for a lot of them.
Thanks for proving my point with this triggered entitled ranting text wall.
You doing what you do does not mean I owe you anything, not in form of feeling obligated to submit things, and I even less so have to take stupid insults from you about getting upset for you not working hard enough for me. If that's the type of shit you make up in your head about the users within the fediverse then please, stop contributing. You're like all those power tripping mod abusers who feel so entitled about it that they expect a "thank you" for ignoring disinformation and ruling over comments in a hypocritical manner. We've had this type of shit on Reddit already, we sure as hell don't need it here.
There, that's how I react when I'm actually upset. You're welcome.
