It's amazing how much impact the privatisation of land development has, there are missed opportunities across the environmental and sustainablity fronts.
The real story is why humanitarian aid is not being allowed by land. To me, this seems to violate my sense of fair play and lacks basic decency. And bombing civilian targets. The civilians are, on the majority, not responsible for the circumstances they now find themselves in and don't deserve death. The pier is a decoy to move visibility away from two US presidents that won't stop it.
Exactly this: don't engage. You may be 100% right and justified but the energy you invest even in responding is lost/wasted. It's a temptation to be right and you're falling for it. Your attention could be elsewhere.
For example, I use YouTube as a learning platform mainly, but sometimes for entertainment. If I started arguing with someone in the comments then I've strayed from my own understanding of the platform's place in my life. I try to weild technology with more awareness and avoid those pitfalls.
