It's the latest exciting chapter of "Plex and the Quest for Investibility!"

It's interesting how we're moving towards owning nothing. Maybe less interesting and more boring dystopian hell-like.

Probably the aftermath of an emergency responders' training exercise. The university I work at had a building slated for demolition and the police and firefighters used the opportunity to train with a more realistic response.

Alternately, it was no training exercise and some real shit went down.

It's depressing that something like that is needed in the first place.

To be honest, I love both films. Bob Hoskins was the perfect personification of Mario, IMHO. John Leguizamo, not so much, but I still enjoyed his portrayal of Luigi.

I feel like I live in the least walkable city in the US. I live 2 miles away from work and I've walked it a few times and here's the annoyances I have to deal with:

• Sidewalks are blocked by obstacles such as overgrown vegetation and cars.
• Sidewalks are broken up so badly they aren't safe to walk on.
• Segments with NO sidewalks around blind curves.

Basically you have to walk in the road most of the trip.

But fuckin' hell, we need to increase taxes to pay for that new jail! I really hate my town.

Can we start our own country? I wonder if we can terraform the great pacific garbage patch...
