  • There was a good comic that I saw that leveraged this hypocrisy. I cant remember enough to search for it, but basically it showed one of these people returning home to their child after harming an immigrant's family (I think).

  • Cool, I'll print this out and share it with my employer

    :(

  • I wouldn't say someone from India is Asian... their tectonic plate came out of nowhere and crashed into the Eurasian plate!

  • Too late, they saw how successful it was for Trump.

  • Trump was (and, fuck, maybe will be again) elected president. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. As of right now, no he can't since he isn't natural born, but hell, it's not impossible to have the constitution amended, just very unlikely.

    I remember after Trump was elected, I stopped watching House of Cards (I think this was before Spacey's indiscretions were mainstream public) because reality really became stranger and scarier than fiction.

  • Maybe they mean "red zit?" Sometimes I get those.

  • I kept hearing about Red Dwarf and gave it a try. It's quirky and goofy at times, but endearing. The special effects suck and they know it. The nice thing since it's a British show, there's not a ton of them in relation to its age. Only 74 since it began in 1988!

  • At the end of the day, making money is the most important thing, but it's also a nuke for Microsoft's arsenal if they ever need it.

  • To combat this, we need more conservative parties.

  • If they worry about adhering to natural order, many of those geniuses wouldn't have made it to adulthood to worry about it in the first place. Just stroll through a really old cemetery and it will break your heart.

  • I've been using Firefox as much as possible and it has gotten better over the previous few months. I find fewer and fewer sites that I have issues with.

  • It is fantastic that a trans women can breastfeed. It clearly appears the public needs to be educated about this, but also people need to mind their own fucking business.

  • Let's say the fediverse is texting, Lemmy is Android, and kbin is iOS. They can text each other, despite being made by different companies.

  • He uses his influence to steer industries in the direction he wants. Something that looks stupid, usually means there's some ulterior motive. Like how Hyperloop was used to hurt high-speed rail because he could sell more cars.

    Twitter, I'm not sure, I'm hoping that was something out of vanity that crashes and burns.

  • I'm thinking ever. The Hyperloop was Musk's way to disrupt high speed rail, which exists and is proven, to sell more EVs.

  • Yup, they felt bad, reflected long and hard upon it, and decided to ditch that motto.

  • I guess it's a good sign that the Fediverse is growing! :) -_-;
