  • Many of the conflicts take place in the Kivu region near the Rwandan border. Many cobalt mines are located in this region. Cobalt is used for making batteries of, for example, phones and electric vehicles. Many of which go to Western countries.

It yet again comes to no surprise that wealth in other parts of the world come at the cost of the lives in the Global South. A just climate transition means giving authority back to the people of the Global South.

  • Europeans on the DPRK: 'lmao they are so brainwashed, how could they let that happen?'

Europeans in history class: 'And then our brave adventurers set sail to the rest of the world, and DISCOVERED Asia, Africa and the Americas!'

Blows my mind how we keep telling ourselves that we discovered the world while people were already living there. Pure white supremacy.

  • Yeah but do you condemn Hamas tho

  • Today I kept thinking about the utter fucking waste the capitalist system is. In terms of natural resources but also in terms of human resources.

Like, tens of thousands of people are unemployed in this country and many of them can and will work in some form or another. They get harassed continually about finding a job and the have to fill their time doing shit temp jobs that pay very little, creating profit for someone else while barely getting by and falling into an endless cycle of unemployment.

And then there are millions of people in The West stuck in some shitty wage slave job just because it costs money to exist. And then I haven't even started about actual slaves in the third world who get exploited to the max.

Imagine how much we could do if we could all get along and if money wasn't the single most important thing in life.

  • You did well in bringing your point across in the other comments, thank you comrade

  • I decided to remove my comment

  • 'You don't get it. Israel NEEDS to bomb thousands of children because otherwise they will be attacked 🥺'

  • I don't see anyone holding up signs celebrating those hostages. Hostages who Israel also refused to take back. And it's funny how nobody is talking about thousands of Palestinians who have been taken and jailed by Israel on bullshit charges.

Nobody is celebrating the hostages. It's just an emotional abuse card people pull up when Israel's genocidal tactics get pointed out. And then we suddenly feel bad for hostages. Thousands of dispalced, kidnapped and killed people on Palestinian side don't get the same treatment.

  • Apparently the guy who hit him is a Ukrainian national, who yelled anti-Russian things. Baudet is suspected to receive financial aid from Russia for his party.

  • I got called a softie by a woman for drinking tea today. Tea. And this isn't the first time for drinking tea either lol.

People and their views on masculinity keep on being insane.

  • One of our senior party figures will soon release a book called Mutiny about the Global South getting freed from the Western hegemony and how that's a GOOD thing. We had a discussion about it today at my local action group and one of my comrades got sort of mad about it, asking how we could support orgs like BRICS when India for example is a right wing capitalist state. Luckily other comrades and myself were able to tell her how critical support works but I don't think she fully agrees.

The book will be translated in 10 different languages so I will see if I can share it here as well.

  • There must've been millions out on the street throughout the world this weekend alone. Support is overwhelming. If only it could bring us further that we are today.

  • Someone I know who isn't that involved in politics just asked me when I will join the next protest for... Pakistan lmao
