I think it would actually be better for beginners, were it not for issue solving: any web search for a solution is bound to give you mostly answers written for traditional distros, which would potentially be incompatible with Bazzite.
There's no realistic way to spoof the eID I needed to vote. It is bound to you, you generally can't get one without in-person identification, and once you have it it only works with an authenticator app.
Let's say you're company x budgeting y millions to make a game, after this passes, you may want to account for the fact that the EU may legislate the issue in the years it takes you to develop your game. Might as well work on compliance in advance.
If you plan it 5 years in advance, yeah, otherwise no.
Also if it means destroying Bazzite, they should really think hard about it, as it's a great "product" with big potential, even for profit in the long run if it takes off.
Hopefully this fosters a bunch of new software from these developers if hired at other companies or working freelance/solo/whatever.
