  • There were two statements made-

    1)people seem irritated

    2)all boomers are egomaniacs

Out of curiosity, which of these did you consider a blanket statement that generalizes an entire group of people??

The first was generally talking about how op felt about the vibe of comments and the second was a tongue in cheek response to me.

  • The fact that this is No Stupid Questions and you are getting downvoted for your question is absurd.

I think the easy answer is- no, of course not. Acting is just pretending. And not even pretending alone, pretending in front of hundreds of people, lights, cameras etc... so I would think it would be very easy to differentiate between the character you are acting like and your actual self.

Maybe a little more nuanced answer- it might depend on the actor and the method. Look at Heath Ledger. His legendary portrayal of the Joker didn't "turn him a little evil", but it certainly fucked with his head.

  • That is how they work though 🙄

I just canceled my Apple TV and I have access to it until the next billing cycle starts. But you have to actually have a billing cycle in order to have service up until the next one...

  • No, he was my governor and not only enacted damaging policy while in office, but some of the things that did not pass were unbelievable. My favorite being when he tried to pass a law where women who had gotten an abortion would have to host a mandatory funeral and pay for funerary costs. Just disgusting.

He's a repugnant human being and an even worse official.
