  • If i'm invested i'll just quote the bit they missrd back at them. If not, i'll downvote and move on.

  • "Rules were made to be broken!"

  • With prices being about 14$/tb on sale for the cheapest 8-16tb drives, yeah, it really is. And if the cheap drive breaks, no problem, you only had public torrents on it anyways.

  • The problem with not being explicit about sarcasm on the internet is that idiots will start to congregate, thinking they're in good company.

  • Honestly. I'll bet there's even a web-dl version of OPs movie out there, so it's the exact same thing sans drm.

  • Goddamn, looks like im switching registrars soon. Thanks for the link.

  • The orange pi3 lts comes with 8gb emmc onboard storage and supports sd card expansion.

  • If you look in the picture Spacebar posted you can see it has mirrors attached.

  • It's a small website created by a comedian. You can see by the link at the bottom of the page. It's not actually NSFW, but I do like the pose of the old lady like she's some sort of horror movie serial killer.

  • Oh my god that's perfect. I think I managed to do it with this. Thank you so much.

  • Thank you, but I'm using a paid domain that needs yearly fees in order to remain mine. A separate dns server would probably work, but I would rather make one payment instead of two.

  • If you have a hard drive as your main storage, and in particular a raid array of smr hard drives, it's worth checking the 'pre-allocate disk space for all files' check box in the connection settings. it keeps disk fragmentation down and lowers raid thrashing a shitton when downloading large media files. You won't notice if it's just you using your one hard drive, but it made a huge difference on my raid5 smr setup.

  • I think it doesn’t matter at all. I̶t̶’̶s̶ ̶g̶o̶n̶n̶a̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶a̶m̶i̶n̶a̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶e̶i̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶w̶a̶y̶.̶ it has three seals and two sensors per pipe to tell if it has started to leak so it'll all show up before it becomes an issue anyways.

    Ftfy.

  • It's three seals and two sensors. You're still technically good to go with both sensors going off for leaks. One leak is cause to buy a replacement seal and/or junction but it isn't a reason to move out.

  • Nope. Not if you have any heart at all at least. The us has good samaritan laws in all 50 states, with minor variation. Sure, it's technically possible you might be opening yourself to legal consequences if you help out, but the law as written protects you from being sued for it unless you do something incredibly fucking dumb. (moving a man with a broken spine out of a car is bad, unless the car is on fire).

In china, the opposite is true; everything you do other than inaction can very easily open you up to legal consequences. This is why you can see someone who drove an elderly couple to the er get sued by that couple, or a baby get run over by a truck with a good dozen people walking past without helping (same website).

There is the vague chance in the usa that helping might get you in trouble, but it is most certainly not the best choice to walk past them if something obviously bad that you can help with is going on.

  • What front-end are you running with conduit? I just spent two hours trying to get element to talk to it but i've put it off due to so much failure with it.
