Same. Bohemia Interactive’s rep took a big hit (in my mind, at least) so I’m a lot more cautious.

This is after I backed the Arma3 Supporter Edition and had to wait like 6 hours after general release to play. Sadtimes.

NGL, DayZ has improved massively over the last few years. (I too had a very dim view of it after they took a massive step back moving from mod->Standalone)

Also, they made the Livonia DLC free and launched the Frostline DLC.

This is literally how it has always been.

You don't own any of the games you paid for, you bought a license to play those games under specific circumstances. It's the same with books & movies.

Valve have (allegedly) stated that in the case of Steam shutting down, games they can update to remove Steam DRM, they will.

On iOS the web rendering engine is the same one used in Safari, yeah.

But everything built on top of that is custom.

I can think of no higher honour in this day and age.

Fixed rates are safer, for sure.

I’m just getting into these things. And immutability seems like a double edged sword.

I just started using Bazzite. It's my second attempt at a Linux gaming setup (Pop_OS was first, Bazzite is working out much better).

What made you lean away from Bazzite, if you don't mind expanding on that?

It’s only $99/ year!
