Honestly it's fine as long as everyone is in a similar power band. All you do is scale up encounter difficulty slightly by adding monster abilities or extra opponents. All power levels are relative to the campaign's conditions, after all.
What sucks is when one person is vastly stronger than their peers and sees no problem with this. Those people never learned to share and should be shunned.
[Insert lengthy, nigh incomprehensible diatribe on why, well acthually, Qatar isn't practicing slavery in the very specific and coincidentally convenient meaning of the word I invented 5 minutes ago]
[Insert picture of pig shitting on itself]
[Insert insult and throwaway line about CIA propaganda]
There, I think that covers the bases for the thread, don't you?
Frankly I think whether or not V survives is largely a headcanon thing. Maybe you head off into the sunset with the Caldos and find help. Maybe you knock over the space casino and buy yourself something like the Relic with all of your stupid new wealth. Maybe you turn into an AI and become a ghost in the machine.
Or maybe you develop natural charisma and an impressive cock, who knows.
Point is they left it vague and uncertain on purpose in several of the good (ish) endings. I get why, but it always felt kinda cheap to me. But it IS a noir story and those aren't known for fairy tale endings.
Here's who reviewed the article. What specific issues do you have with it and her credentials? On what basis do you believe you are more qualified to make judgements on this topic than Dr. Casarella? What are YOUR credentials?
Are you claiming to have conducted an appropriate literature review or did you just shop around for a single journal article that sorta kinda supports what you think?
While we're at it, perhaps you could explain how the study's results support your beliefs?
Results We found a significant negative association between reported pornography hours per week and gray matter volume in the right caudate (P lt; .001, corrected for multiple comparisons) as well as with functional activity during a sexual cue–reactivity paradigm in the left putamen (P lt; .001). Functional connectivity of the right caudate to the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex was negatively associated with hours of pornography consumption.
How does the exact volume gray matter (a decrease, actually) relate? What was the size of the effect?
Right, but the sudden onrush of """"concern"""" from a community who's rhetoric regarding women has been toxic in the past feels phony. You'd have a solid point in a formal debate but this isn't that. This is the real world where context matters and a community's prevailing attitudes are fair game for evaluating whether or not their arguments are made in good faith.
every medical professional in the world will tell you to consume as little pornography as possible bro
Weird how this never came up in the entirety of my Psych degree. It's almost as if you've no idea what you're on about.
Spoiler alert: you're not gonna find a DSM entry for "porn addiction" because there's a lot of debate over whether or not it's even truly an addiction by clinical standards. If it's interfering with your life to the point that you want to stop, can't, and it's damaging your relationships and life goals, THEN you have an issue. The WHO just lumps that in with a lot of things under the heading of "Compulsive Sexual Behavior" but there's literally nothing special about porn.
A certain percentage of the population are going to develop problem behaviors with it do to a complex suite of physiological and cognitive factors, but that's all.
Thanks, 4Chan. Turns out there ARE consequences to certain varieties of edgy humor when you don't know how batshit insane the other people on your website are.
As scientists age, they begin exhibiting symptoms like takes on why other disciplines are totally doing it wrong, and how whole fields of study are bogus. Please take care of your scientist as they approach end of life. Particularly noticeable in Physicists, but found in most STEM fields.
Noita is really interesting, but I feel like the base game's balance is janky. You can play really well and just get utterly fucked on wands. They have this amazingly nuanced magic system but it feels like you rarely get the chance to harness it or experiment and death is very easy.
Don't get me wrong, I highly recommend it if you like side scrolling rogue-lites. Plus the game's a LOT bigger than it first appears.
I feel like most of it is private ownership. The minute you enter the CEO/Board of Directors ecosystem with investors to pay and expectations of eternal growth, everything turns to shit.
If only more billionaires tried to visit the Titanic.
