I'm not saying don't vote for him but he's not getting my vote in the primaries, and I'd encourage everyone to look at other options. I think Elizabeth Warren would be good; she has concrete policy proposals.
There aren't any right wing chuds getting elected in state level elections in California. We don't do that shit here.
That said, Gavin is a sleaze and we don't need any more of those at the top. Dude can't keep it in his pants and boned his campaign manager's - more importantly his good friend's - wife. That sort of unforced error should be disqualifying. There are over 300 million people in this nation and I know we can find one to be President that doesn't sleep around mind mindbogglingly stupid ways.
Yes, I suppose if you ignore every single bit of the last few hundred years worth of context, it would be hard to understand why people might be ok with this, but not necessarily the reverse.
Fortunately that context is available to you, so what I have trouble understanding is why you're not accounting for that. Maybe you could elaborate, or perhaps do some perspective taking on why historically oppressed groups have certain sensitivities that privileged groups do not have. You might even come to realize that treating everyone exactly the same after not doing so for a very long time doesn't come across as terribly fair. Because, you know, it isn't.
It'd probably be a state level entity that offers endorsements to other states. That's how it is for nurses, anyway. In other news, nurses have more legal hoops to jump through than cops. Someone explain that.
Here's the guy's citations if anyone wants a look. I'm not educated enough in this field to assess quality but if there happens to be a podiatrist around...
They just clamp on the edge of your desk and you move them out of the way.
