  • I think it's worth bringing a solution in house. A recommended migration route. If you want people to feel confident to pick any instance, you have to give them the confidence to move easily and not fear picking a small instance that might die when their owner gets bored. A simple setting option to migrate from, then you select the account and either (through communities accessible, or through automated request, pull that data and subscribe to communities. Maybe blocks etc also.

  • "A key question in the case was how the message got out, considering Snapchat is an encrypted app.

One theory, raised in the trial, was that it could have been intercepted via Gatwick's Wi-Fi network. But a spokesperson for the airport told BBC News that its network "does not have that capability".

In the judge's resolution, cited by the Europa Press news agency, it was said that the message, "for unknown reasons, was captured by the security mechanisms of England when the plane was flying over French airspace"."

  • Except you use them in your base to farm, water, plant, mine, haul and each do varying quality of job based on traits and type. Without the right ones, automation fails. Base building is a bigger part of the game IMHO and its really well done.

  • I think we need to get over the issue of stock assets. Not everyone is artists and games take years to make. Games with stock assets that have put time and love into mechanics shouldn't be punished. AI is a different discussion entirely of course.

Stock assets do not mean asset flip. Asset flips are such because the game and systems are primitive with very little effort taken.

  • I mean moderation doesn't neccesarily support that. You can be tolerant but remove stuff that is far in the fringes. Lemmy has quite a mix. World hates left wing, ml is left wing. Ee is pretty open.

  • Well, they run Afghanistan and af is the country code. They picked a domain that they thought was cute, funny or clever and didn't consider longevity or risk. It's on them. If I make a website. I won't pick a silly extension that won't survive long.

  • It doesn't actually need that much moderation. I moderate a pretty sizeable community and mod log is pretty empty. You don't need to be an expert neither. These are excuses, not reasons.

If you see regular active trusted people, reach out to them about modding when it grows.
