If my partner is upset, I will 100% try to find a solution with them. But if they get mad at me for not understanding what they feel because they don't understand it themselves, you bet that I won't let that roll.
And it's also okay to say "I'm upset and I don't know why exactly". It's a starting point to resolve the issue.
I mostly play indie games, but I sometimes play AAA games (Ghost of Tsushima right now) and I am glad that I have my rig that can get 90 fps @ 4k (with fsr).

Bang for bucks, ASRock is really good. I bought a mobo when the first gen of Ryzen came out and it is still rocking today. It supports up to Matisse series cpu. I paid like, 70-80 bucks back then. I had a lot of value out of it.
