The 14th amendment of the United States allows for slavery as a punishment.

Do most countries have slavery written into their constitutions?

Some people are upset that in the face of fascism, this is the best the American ‘left’ can do. They claim the entire country is on the line, but I haven’t seen them act like it. I’ve seen them say we need to vote for Biden, because abortion!! Roe V Wade was undone under his leadership and he has done nothing about it. He adopted extremist conservative border policy. The Supreme Court decision everybody is clamoring about happened while he was in the big chair. So why does he deserve my vote? Why would voting for him change anything when some of the most consequential and damaging legislation of the 2000s has happened under him?

Same with rap in the 90-00s and even still to this day to some extent.

And I’m pretty damned sure some moderate liberals were wrapped up in it as well. It is America after all, where everyone’s a judgmental bigot.

We already have “prisoners with jobs” (slaves) in America. Don’t try and act like America isn’t already a racist shithole.

It’s also a Korean street dog. You would never find that at your local Weinerschnitzel.

I come from a state that has officially mandated that porn websites must verify your age to use them for years. There were many websites that just didn’t give a fuck. X videos in particular. They do now require you to hit a button saying “I’m 18” to process, but I think my point stands.

These laws do nothing, really.

I was just trying my best to give them the benefit of the doubt. I’m trying to learn to not assume the worst of people. It’s hard lol

Since you seem a bit more knowledgeable about the subject, what is stopping this scenario:

Lower courts decide they can’t determine what is/isn’t a presidential act, since standards weren’t outlined in the decision. They send it up the courts, where it lands in front of the Supreme Court. And since they set no standards, can determine them on partisan lines.

Care to elaborate? Cutting production of what?

I see now, I must have missed the word ‘prices’ on my first read. Fine by me though. As if the west hasn’t tried to economically destroy China for decades. Good for them. Get the bag, kings.

Seriously. Those materials are essential and necessary for growth. Allowing some capitalist douchebag to hoard it all and make profits from it is a national security threat.

It’s the chicken/egg of politics, really. Does Trump represent his base or does his base represent him? Do politicians campaign on the wishes of their constituents? Or do their constituents develop their views based on their politicians?

Trump is just the face of the problem. The real threats are the organs; much deeper inside and far more protected than the face.

Well I’m glad the blame can now be shifted towards Biden allies when he loses, rather than leftists.

I only remember people being so pissed that she didn’t, they celebrated when she died. I don’t remember anyone who wanted her to step down calling it ‘courageous’ when she didn’t.
