  • They were charged 11x what they should have paid. they were overcharged 10x, because they would still have been expected to pay the original (1x) charge.

The 1k% refers to the overcharge, so they are technically correct.

  • Lol the model T was like 250 back then so you could buy a 6 pack for 1500. But you couldn't get a Cadillac for 1500, and rolls Royce made more cars back then that may approach 10x that amount.

I would bet the max impound fee is capped at $100/day so they're selling cars that are worth less than the impound fee at that point.

  • If I understand correctly, it's nat on the local home router AND nat on the ISP's router as well. It's a double nat.

They're fairly common in the US with smaller or local fiber networks, but most ISPs offer a static IP for an additional $10/month to bypass the CGNAT

  • . . . are all 3rd world nations.

Uh, Sweden and Finland are NATO members (2024 & 2023 respectively) and Ireland has had relations with NATO since the 90s.

They were considered 3rd world by the original definition at the time it was defined.

  • Lol by the time I actually needed to upgrade from that mini, all the fruit stand stuff wasn't really upgradable anymore. It was really frustrating, so I jumped ship to Windows.

Those iMac screens seemed so fiddley to remove just to get access to the drives. Why won't they just bolt them in instead of using glue! (I know why, but I still don't like it)

  • Lol, I used to have an 08 Mac mini and that required a razor blade and putty knives to open. I got pretty good at it after separately upgrading the RAM adding an SSD and swapping out the cpu for the most powerful option that Apple didn't even offer

  • There's 6 audio ports on the back of the motherboard (which is why it looks like there are extra/redundant parts) and it could be any of them, not just the main stereo (green) output. But if your main audio is working fine, it should be usable.
