I thought it might be a loose connection or a cable issue as well but I've tried reseating them and also using an externally powered USB hub because I've heard that can fix some issues.
Weird, mine has been absolutely rock solid. And I don't touch the oculus software, just SteamVR. I've played hundreds of hours of Bonelab and Half Life 2 VR etc
Don't you need Meta's software to setup the headset and get your computer to recognize it?
Typically I'll check IMDb for the More like this section and go from there. It's how I found out about Jeff and Some Aliens and The Life and Times of Tim.
Some media is also hard to come by so people might fear deleting content that might not be easy to get back in the future.
Look at all the semi-lost media where there's only a segment of it that exists on YouTube
That I prefer PlayStation over Xbox. I ended up playing the Killzone, Resistance, and inFamous series as well as Red Dead Redemption on a PS3 and I really liked the dashboard and trophy system. I even got used to the controller. I was a die hard Xbox 360 guy in high school but I think that was mostly because it's what my friends were using.
It does help consoles modding seems to be easier on the PlayStation side of things.
I own a PS4 so having the dual functionality would be nice though I would primarily be using it for videos. As I said in another comment they are also quite cheap (~$100) where I live and I'd like to avoid any of Meta's software and only Oculus products (and the PSVR) are available second hand
My bad. I meant it more as it taking it to another level of heavy. I used to place most of the weight on my pinkie when scrolling through sites like Reddit but it was so awkward afterwards I had to use two hands and I couldn't wear it with shorts or sweatpants because it would cause them to fall down
I bought an Ali Express Love Mei brand metal case for a phone I had. It probably tripled the weight of the phone on top of making it significantly larger.
I mean ideally you wouldn't need to create new accounts. You should be able to interact with instances outside of the one you signed up for.
If the issue is with different instances having different rules and defederation than you are pretty much back where you started either way even with a sort of back up subscription list
I suppose it might be useful for when an instance goes does like some with the .ml domain have.
I mean McDonalds doesn't have smoked fish.
Also what would be the name of this turducken? Fishken? Chish?
