Milk should be poured before the cereal. I've always done this because pouring milk on top of the cereal gets the top wet and also kind of pushes the cereal down. I love crunchy cereal
The easiest way I can articulate this is if I see someone step on something sharp, I'll instantly recoil and feel pain in my foot even though I haven't stepped on anything. It's almost like you share a part of their consciousness in a way

Chocolate! I have no idea why but if I eat more than a small bar of chocolate in a short time span I get this tingling sensation in my mouth, forehead and temples. It's not painful or anything just very weird and I've had it all my life. I've been tested for an allergy to chocolate and it came back negative!

I'm not entirely well versed on the Lemmy software, but is there any way for the Fediverse to block or potentially identify the person behind the "Nicole" accounts via IP/browser/automated systems or something?
I get told I'm pretty often and I believe it from experience. A running gag with me is that rough and tough guys (rednecks/bogans/chavs or whatever the word is for these people in your country) who would normally be really aggressive to other people are instantly nice to me just because of how I look.
I have hyperthymia. It's a constant state of mild mania and when I get flare ups of it it's like I'm on speed

I have hyperphantasia too, and didn't realize this until someone posted a diagram on here. When I imagine an apple in my head, it looks the same as me seeing it in real life. I never knew this wasn't normal until pretty recently!
Never been banned from anywhere nor do I intend to. I never made a Reddit account because of that scandal where a really talented artist got banned because the mods thought their art was AI generated even though the artist kept proving it wasn't. What happened to Reddit since has only cemented my prexisting disdain for that site.
I decided to join social media early last year and I remember Lemmy was on one of the lists of new social media sites, so I joined it and have been having a great time ever since! 😃
Every time I look at the moon I always think to myself "people landed on that, slept there and stayed there for a while before coming back" it just blows my mind especially with the comparatively archaic technology that was used compared to today!
Air travel! I understand the physics involved in flight, but another part of me just watches these huge planes flying over (Airbus A380 is absolutely massive oh my gosh) and wondering how such a big and heavy thing can fly so high and so fast. I'll never get used to flying and I do mean that in the best way possible. It'll always amaze me that at any given moment there are millions of people flying high in the sky!
