  • When people on the left stop just circle-jerking on the Internet and actually get involved in their state and local Democratic parties, vote in the primaries and run for office.

  • Nah, Rogue One is as bad as the other sequels. The main character is about as interesting as a wet dish rag. Several of the side characters are annoying. Zombie Tarkin. There's no story arc or characters that are worth caring about and the entire plot is just a thin excuse to have cringey fan service and CG action scenes.

  • It's rational on an individual level because you can know it's a bubble, know the company is overvalued and yet still conclude that the best move is to buy. It's risky, but the question is if the risk/reward ratio is better or worse than the alternatives. In the case of TSLA, you'd have made well over 10x your money if you had bought in 2019. It's why bubbles keep happening despite everyone knowing they exist and will pop eventually.

  • Let's not forget the unprecedented amount of obstructionism from Republicans under Obama. They set several records for the use of the filibuster and filibustered more of Obama's nominees than literally all previous presidents' combined.

  • I support most of what Lena Khan has done, but this is stupid. Cybersecurity features should be built into the base package of all cloud products. The fact that so many charge extra for them is and always has been bullshit. It's like trying to sell a car but charging extra to include seat belts and air bags.

The complaint should be that they're selling a product that is unsafe in its base offering.

  • Which is stupid because the government already provides the majority of healthcare in this country and is doing it quite well. Medicare has a 90+% approval rate from the people who use it and it is far more efficient than private insurance.
