  • I enjoyed the Breen being a mysterious weird thing, and they mostly still are. But the "reveal" inasmuch as it was, I thought was pretty cool and while it took away some mystery, it added some too.

  • This is such a baller line. Another good one is in "Up The Long Ladder" when Brenna asks Riker "What are you staring at? Have you never seen a woman before?" and Riker just casually says "I thought I had."

  • The arms merchant whom we see Moll and L’ak dealing with appears to be an Annari

Wow, good eye. And very interesting!

Burnham convinces Airiam she’s genuine by telling Airiam she sacrifices her life to save everyone else in “Project Daedalus”, an act that none of the rest of the crew believe Airiam would perform.

This made laugh. The entire crew is all "Nah not Ariam she sucks! She would 100% take the money and run leaving us all to die" and then when she's like "No actually I would die for you jerks" they get all pikachuface.

  • This public issue on the nut.js repo, where I'm publicly accused of something that's entirely not true was the final nail in the coffin.

Damn FOSS geeks, they ruin FOSS!

  • I actually think users who click ads are probably the ones who most need to learn about the alternatives!

  • These posts are the Fediverse's killer app, imo.

  • LOL this is the answer. For better or worse, the Fediverse has a large established culture. I would not fault someone for trying out every possible alternative first.

  • Me too weirdly. I have watched the Kelvinverse movies all exactly once, but this doesn't sound so bad.

  • Where are the people complaining that he was only cast because of his race?

  • Conveniently sidestepping the question of sleep...

  • I liked how at the end Culber was shaken by the whole "being a host to another consciousness" experience and needed a minute to process it. Every time someone goes through a life-changing thing in Star Trek they're right as rain by the end of the episode. Like when Sisko hosted Joran Dax (the murder-ey one) he kept the feelings buried inside. I don't think it's a coincidence that some time later he poisoned the atmosphere of Solosos III because of something Eddington said about him on the internet.

  • This is awesome I had no idea they had these sorts of things. Thanks for sharing.

  • One of my biggest regrets is not making it to The Experience when I could have.

  • USSBurittoTruck posting irresistable bait as usual

  • at first shitposts will do it for ya, but before too long you start craving the abstract deep cuts…

  • Have they done a Star Trek Doogie Howser yet?

  • 10/10 should have used that for the post title!
