  • The issue is the plastic internal mechanisms will wear out eventually. The Pentels have a metal core which has never worn out from my usage. I always end up losing the pencils before they break. The same can’t be said for the BICs.

  • I mean, depends on the size of the company. When you’re like 1-2 devs you basically do what you can to help everyone out. But yeah as the company gets bigger you’ll need to separate the responsibilities.

  • So in a solid, you can imagine each atom connected to each other by springs (bonds). They can vibrate on these springs. If they vibrate too much (by heating) then they can break the bonds and escape as a gas. Gasses basically have too much energy to bond again.

  • I’ve considered instead of energy generation which is pretty hard for human biomechanics to do, we could have a gym where you build stuff. Like today’s workout is you have to build a wall.

    Carry a bunch of wood around (squat, deadlift, carries ). Do some sawing (row, push up). Lift wood overhead (press).

    And at the end of the workout you’ve got a wall!
