What is always surprising to me, but shouldn’t be, is that the GOP consistently displays behavior of toddlers that most parents would not tolerate in their kids. Then they turn a blind eye when our elected officials behave that way. It’s strange and sad.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I didn’t like Biden in 2020 but there is no fucking way I’m chancing another term with trump. Our country will literally be destroyed. Just listen to his plans, he’s not even hiding it.

How is this chaos any different from when he was still speaker? He took us to the edge of a shutdown just days ago. The chaos has already arrived my friend. At least now their incompetence is on full display and will potentially kill any chance for a majority in the next election.

I get where you are going but it would make more sense to be based on a percentage above a living wage or something like that. In 100 years 10 million will be worth a lot less than today.

Go to bed at 11. I don’t really see that as being that hard. Start prepping for sleep an hour ahead of time. Put down the screens and maybe read a book. Take some melatonin.

Sure but they are wrong. People are entitled to government assistance. That is why we pay taxes in the first place. If a government can’t be relied on to help their citizens when they are in need then they shouldn’t be taking their fucking money. They can’t have it both ways.

First of all, I don’t go to coffee shops which is what we were talking about so the point is moot. Second, the fact that you seem to think it is the customer in the wrong and not the employers shows just how brain washed you are by corporations. People have been unionizing and striking across the country for living wages and that is the answer, not shaming the customer. Wake up.

And don’t put the blame on the customer. Demand better wages. I’m not taking it out on anyone.

I think it is completely inappropriate. Some people can barely afford to live and then have to feel shame and judged when they have to say no.

This is really hard for me but I have had to put my foot down in recent times. It still makes me uncomfortable but I just can’t support this anymore. If I’m sitting down at a restaurant with a server I tip 20 - 25% but I’m tired of tipping for takeout and I absolutely refuse to give extra when checking out at a store.

Savannah isn’t a biome, it’s a city. Savanna is a biome and I’ve never met someone with that name.
