  • People really believe them this time when the

    ! LOBBY !

tells them everything's safe now, some people just can't get behind the idea that nothing can make this technology safe, there will always be one edge-case where the stars align and we have another meltdown.

I already know how the lobby is telling the people the wrong price per Kw/h ignoring any other costs involved, so i can get the idea how they handle security concerns.

    Fuck them

  • These corporate interests are the reason it works so good. If you read into the Linux mailing list, major lifting is done by these companies.

Intel, AMD, Suse, Red Hat to name a few, all they follow are their corporate interests.

Some things just need money to be thrown at, i don't have a problem with benefiting from money of corporations. It also makes it more accessible for people who are not able or willing to pay.

There are paid distros already out there, but there will always be the option to ignore them.

  • The person asks to get rid of these messages, there is no fucking way, it's their platform, their rules, deal with it or leave it.

So stfu with your whiney "why Microsoft" posts and do something about it.

You get rid of 50 messages and 300 will come a week after that, they are knowing what they're doing.

The next feature upgrade will reset your little PowerShell scripts anyway.

  • As someone who used both, endeavourOS gives you a good idea what a system should look like, it's not extremely overdone.

I did switch to Arch, just because i think that i don't need quite as much.

If i would have only tried Arch i would have spent so much time figuring out what's possible and what i want.

There is a place for it, not everyone wants to take so much time figuring things out and that's fine by me.

  • You can use Floccus and connect it to Nextcloud, the self-hosted Firefox-Sync version is outdated, the newer rust-version isn't available for self-hosting, i don't know what takes them so long, they say that it is to complicated for most people.

  • They look old compared to other new cars, i've seen enough of that design.

The Tesla Y gotta be one of the ugliest cars from behind that i know, it does look like a Model 3 just out of proportion.
