They do affiliate themselves with Christianity - maybe not Catholicism specifically, but the Catholic Church is hardly the only denomination of this cult that can’t keep their hands/mouths off of kids’ genitals.

Frankly if I ever had kids I’d have a gaggle of drag queens babysit before I let any even slightly religiously affiliated group near them.

Ugh, I had a biology teacher who was very similar. We briefly went through what the textbook had to say on evolution, then spent the next week or so watching stupid videos of this nutjob ranting about how current species with symbiotic relationships couldn’t have evolved separately or some drivel. Knowing what I know now about my rights as a student in a public school, I wish I could go back just for the opportunity to tell him I’d be doing my own independent study time in the library during his class periods while he was showing his blatantly illegal proselytizing propaganda.

I’m also not sure how much I believe in their “victim” status. I was raised in a conservative Southern Baptist household in Mississippi, and I figured out that stuff was bullshit after a few Sunday School sessions.

That’s understandable. I do recall when setting up my stuff that Proton’s documentation left a lot to be desired. Thankfully I found the Dr Frankenstein guides that walked me through it. I don’t do much script writing of my own though, so that may not be helpful for everyone.

Wait, port forwarding on Proton is locked behind a GUI? That doesn’t seem right - I use proton with port forwarding for my torrent setup on my NAS and it connects to VPN just using environment variables from a docker compose file. No Proton software installed at all.

Also fully possible I’ve misread something; apologies if so.
