  • Capitalism: yes or no?

  • I've seen more people whining about HexBear than I've seen posts by HexBear. As far as the "tankie" stuff goes, it really seems like people think tankies are anyone who's looked at the Communist Manifesto. They couldn't tell you anything about where the term comes from.

  • I'm just trying to do something small to change the cultural milieu so that folks don't feel that work has to come with some sort of punishment attached to it. It's nothing personal, I'm just being a pedant. Have a good one!

  • I feel like we're at the point where WFH workers can work from home for four days for more pay.

  • These "funny" quips and one-liners have become the new laugh-tracks.

  • All our signs are slanted because we don't have any rulers.

  • Toxic

  • Lemmy see those nuts. Ha! Goteem!

  • What exactly is your definition of "taking too seriously"?

  • "Absolutely devastating, the worse person you know just made a great point."

  • Maybe a system where someone can be this openly corrupt while making decisions for a large group of people shouldn't exist?

  • We just gonna ignore that the caveman has a nail through their bat/club? Talk about an immersion-breaker.

  • Some of us are trying to raise the class consciousness needed to do so. It's hard because people here think Democrats are "the left".

  • It isn't all we can do, but it's a pretty good thing to do. It's part of my Diversity of Tactics.

  • Something something husband piece of shit husband?

  • Or, hear me out, cut out the middle man and get rid of the government so that you can then get rid of corporations.

  • The states don't have the class consciousness necessary for something like that.

  • The only thing you seem interested in is remaining ignorant to anything that doesn't fit your worldview.

  • Feels like you're missing the point. Not giving in to company greed only goes so far, especially when you're talking about necessities like electric, gas, food, shelter, and clothing.

  • Mutual Aid is part of Anarchism. It's about strengthening your sense of community and viewing your community as a means of survival without taking it for granted, like we do under capitalism. In an anarchist society, you could get a smart phone or a computer through Industrial Unionism. You should really look into these concepts.
